How to Get the Most from your Foot Spa Bath with Aroma Filter
Filling the Foot Spa Bath with Water
Before you plug in the foot spa, fill it up to the fill-level mark (approximately 2-3 cm full). The footrest should be completely covered with water.
Fill the device with water to your desired temperature.
NB: Do not fill the foot spa in the shower, bathtub, or wash basin, or while connected to power.
Different water temperatures have a positive effect on the feeling in your body. Choose the right water temperature for your wellness experience:
1) Cold water (24–29°C) has a refreshing and revitalising effect on the body. It awakens your spirits and brings new energy.
2) Lukewarm water (30–40°C) supports an optimal wellness experience and has a nurturing and regenerative effect.
3) Warm water (approx. 42–48°C) has a particularly soothing and warming effect on the body and, as a result, can support the immune system.
Using the Removable Aroma Filter Basket
The removable aroma filter basket allows you to easily add bath additives such as bath crystals, bath salts etc. into the water.
NB: Do not put additives directly into the foot spa and avoid oily additives. This could damage the foot spa. Only add additives to the aroma filter basket, as indicated in the instruction manual.
Warm foot spas with arnica, rosemary or sea salt extracts get the circulation going.
Lukewarm foot spas with lavender or thyme have a relaxing effect and are wonderful for exhausted feet and minds.
Make Yourself Comfortable
Make yourself comfortable in a chair, place your feet in the footbath and apply slight pressure. Never stand in the footbath
Using the 2 Massage Functions:
Function 1: Bubble massage, infrared light, and water temperature regulator
Function 2: Activation of vibration massage
Please note the bubbles and vibration functions are designed to give a gentle and relaxing spa experience.
- Function 1: Bubble Massage, Infrared Light, and Water Temperature Regulator
Press the button as indicated in the manual to switch the bubble massage, with infrared light and water temperature regulator on or off.
These functions are only available together.
- Function 2: Optional Vibration Massage
While the bubble massage with infrared light and water temperature regulator is running, you have the option to switch on the vibration massage. The vibration massage will only function when the bubble massage with infrared light and water temperature regulator is switched on. It cannot be used separately.
Press the button as indicated in the manual to switch the vibration massage either on or off as desired.
Using the Massage Rollers
You can experience a special massage effect by moving your feet back and forth on the removeable massage rollers integrated into the bottom of the foot spa.
By moving your feet back and forth over the nodes of the massage roller attachment, you can achieve a particularly effective massage. By manually increasing or decreasing pressure on the rollers, you can increase or decrease the intensity of massage under your feet. Please note that the rollers are manually rolled using your feet, and do not roll automatically. The massage rollers can optionally be removed by pulling them firmly upwards.
The Removable Attachments x3
Place the chosen attachment onto the fixture provided.
- Brush attachment can be used to stimulate the reflex zones in the soles of your feet.
- Massage attachment provides a soothing massage for your feet and promotes circulation.
- Corn and callus remover is used to remove dead skin cells and calluses.
Magnetic Field and Infrared Light
The foot spa features 16 magnets, and 4 infrared light dots integrated into the foot tub. They help to boost circulation and stimulate reflexology points.
Notes on Water Temperature Regulation
Heating the water is not possible, but the initial water temperature of the bath is retained for longer. Fill the bath with water at the desired temperature.
In testing, the bath was filled with water at a temperature of 38°C. After 1 hour the water temperature had dropped to 34°C (room temperature was 21°C)
Water effectiveness of temperature regulation will depend on the initial temperature of the water, the room temperature, and the temperature of the floor. The temperature of the water is automatically regulated when the appliance is switched on.
The Benefits of a Relaxing Foot Massage:
A gentle, relaxing foot massage offers several physical, mental, and emotional benefits:
Improved Circulation: Foot massages stimulate blood flow, which can help improve circulation, especially in the lower legs and feet. This is particularly beneficial for people who are on their feet all day or those with poor circulation.
Stress Relief: A gentle foot massage can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting relaxation and reducing stress. The soothing pressure on reflex points can help calm the mind and reduce tension.
Pain Relief: Foot massage may help alleviate pain and discomfort caused by conditions like plantar fasciitis, arthritis, or general foot fatigue. The gentle pressure can target sore spots and reduce muscle tension.
Enhanced Sleep: A relaxing foot massage before bedtime can promote better sleep by calming the body and mind. It's known to help reduce insomnia and improve overall sleep quality.
Better Mood: Foot massages release endorphins, the body's natural feel-good hormones, leading to improved mood and a sense of well-being.
Relief from Swelling: For individuals who experience swelling in their feet or ankles, a foot massage can help reduce fluid retention by encouraging lymphatic drainage.
Improved Flexibility: Regular foot massages can help increase the range of motion in the feet and toes by releasing tightness and reducing stiffness.
Reduced Anxiety and Tension: Foot massage activates reflex points related to stress relief and anxiety reduction. It helps trigger relaxation responses, making it an effective tool for reducing feelings of anxiety.
Mental Clarity: The calming effects of a foot massage can help clear the mind, enhance focus, and improve mental clarity. It provides a break from the mental clutter of daily life.
Enhanced Skin Health: Foot massages also promote better skin health by increasing circulation, which can lead to healthier, more nourished skin. The process can help soften rough skin, particularly around the heels.
Incorporating a gentle foot massage into your routine can be an effective and enjoyable way to promote overall health and well-being.
